Infrared Sauna

Infrared saunas offer a unique approach to heat therapy. We use invisible light waves to directly warm the body at lower temperatures (120˚F to 140˚F) than traditional saunas. This method is believed to penetrate deeper, producing a more intense sweat and potentially offering benefits such as detoxification, pain relief, improved circulation, and skin health.

Proponents of infrared saunas claim a wide range of health benefits, including Anti-aging effects, detoxification, skin health, athletic performance, injury recovery, immune system health, mood and brain health, and cardiovascular health.

Myofascial Release

Myofascial Release is a hands-on therapy that targets tight muscles and fascia, the connective tissue surrounding muscles. By applying sustained pressure to restricted areas, this technique aims to alleviate pain, improve mobility, and restore muscle function. It is believed to relax contracted muscles, enhance blood and lymph circulation, and stimulate the muscle stretch reflex. Some people believe cupping also helps to release toxins and improve the flow of energy in the body. While cupping can leave temporary marks on the skin, these typically fade within a few days.

Deep Tissue Massage

Deep tissue massage is a therapeutic technique that targets the deeper layers of muscles and connective tissue. Unlike lighter massage styles, deep tissue massage utilizes slow, firm strokes and direct pressure to reach below the superficial muscles. Craniosacral Therapy

Craniosacral therapy is a gentle, hands-on treatment that focuses on releasing tension and blockages in the body by working with the craniosacral system, which includes the membranes and fluids surrounding the brain and spinal cord.

You will lie fully clothed on a treatment table while the therapist lightly places their hands on your body, focusing on areas like the head, neck, and spine. The therapist uses subtle movements to encourage the body’s natural healing processes.

Craniosacral therapy is helpful for reducing stress, headaches, migraines, chronic pain, and muscle tension. It can also help with conditions like TMJ (jaw pain), fibromyalgia, and neck and back pain.  Many people find it beneficial for improving sleep quality, enhancing mental clarity, and easing symptoms of anxiety and depression. It can support healing after trauma, both physical and emotional, and is often used to aid in recovery from concussions or whiplash. Manual Therapy

Couples Massage

A couples massage offers a unique opportunity for partners to share a relaxing and intimate experience. It involves two people receiving massages simultaneously in the same room, with two separate massage therapists. This allows couples to unwind together, creating a shared sense of calm and connection. Couples massage can be customized to suit individual preferences, with options for various massage styles, aromatherapy, and other enhancements. It’s a wonderful way to celebrate a special occasion, de-stress together, or simply enjoy quality time with a loved one.

Emotional Release Massage

Recommended for clients that are actively seeing a physiotherapist, psychologist, or psychiatrist as you may need to discuss with your counselor the feelings that emerge from your session. In emotional release massage, various pain-free techniques through massage, stretching and energy flow engage areas of the body to invoke memory associated with the initial trauma. Allowing clients to release physical tension in the body caused by the trauma, decreasing the impact of triggers, and increasing restful sleep patterns.  

Kinesio Taping

Kinesio Taping is a therapeutic method that uses a special elastic tape to support the body’s natural healing process. Developed in Japan by Dr. Kenzo Kase in 1979, this technique is based on the principles of neurophysiology and the body’s response to mechanical stimulation. Kinesio tape is designed to mimic the skin’s elasticity, allowing for a full range of motion while providing support and stability to muscles and joints. It comes in various types to accommodate different skin sensitivities and is applied with varying degrees of tension to achieve specific therapeutic effects. Through decades of research and clinical validation, Kinesio Taping has become a widely recognized method for addressing pain, inflammation, and musculoskeletal dysfunction.

BrainTap

BrainTap is a relaxation system that uses a combination of light and sound to guide your brain into a state of deep relaxation and focus. By wearing headphones and special glasses, you’ll experience gentle light pulses and rhythmic sounds that work together to calm the nervous system and promote mental clarity. BrainTap is designed to reduce stress and anxiety, improve sleep quality, and enhance focus and concentration. In the Mindful Eating consultation you’ll learn how to nourish your body without the stress of dieting. You’ll learn about the principles of Mindful Eating, focusing on how to listen to your body’s signals and make healthier choices that feel good.

We’ll cover easy meal prepping and planning, tailored to your lifestyle and any dietary restrictions you might have. You’ll learn what to add to your meals for better nutrition and what to avoid for a healthier you.
